We encourage all residents to personalise their rooms with their own accessories. As well as having your own personal space, we have spacious lounges, separate dining areas and a well-trained team of dedicated staff to provide 24-hour support.
Gairloch House is situated in a quiet residential area of Clacton-on-Sea and is less than 150 yards from the promenade and award-winning sandy beaches. The railway station for those visiting by train is approximately a 10-minute walk. At Gairloch House all of our bedrooms are large and spacious, with the option for an en-suite and garden views.
There are miles of beaches to enjoy walking from along the seafront, east towards Holland on Sea or west towards Martello Beach and St Osyth. Further round the coast Frinton and Walton-on-Naze are both approximately 8 miles away.
The Cavendish was built in 1919 by a former British Brigadier who had all the bricks brought down by boat from London. When the home was registered as a Care Home it was owned by a naval captain who sailed one of the largest oil tankers in the world, “The Cavendish”, which he named the home after.
The Cavendish is set in beautifully landscaped gardens and is located a mere 10-minute walk from the town centre. It is positioned in a quiet residential area just close to the beautiful and unspoilt beaches of Clacton.
Winsford House was originally built in 1903 as a home for business men’s families who fell on hard times. Winsford House has beautiful high ceilings, Victorian features and a stately home feel. It became a home for the elderly 30 years ago.
It is located in a quiet residential area of Clacton-on-Sea, close to the seafront, local amenities and town centre.
